The 19-year-old also added to her name the female Young Player of the Year on the night.
She scooped the inter-club female player award from Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Andile Dlamini and South Africa center-back Bambanani Mbanie.

With Hasaacas, Badu hugged the headlines in November, helping the Ghanaian club to the maiden TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League final in Egypt, where she won the Best Player of the Tournament and Golden Boot with five goals.
She helped the Sekondi-based side and powered them to the 2021 domestic quadruple where they won four titles including the WAFU Zone B championship.

Her out sanding performance earned her a contract to Norwegian Toppserien side Avaldsnes IL, on a two and-a-half year deal.
