Veteran Ghanaian actor, Prince Yawson who was widely known as Awakye is reported dead after battling a long-lasting illness.
The actor died on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the 37 Military Hospital at age 52.
The death, Mondokayoline.com understands happened after a short illness.

Waakye was well known for his appearance in the film ‘Diabolo’. He also featured in several Ghanaian films.
He became an ordained reverend minister in April 2021.
