A former Health Minister under the erstwhile Jerry John Rawlings administration, Dr. Samuel Nuamah Donkor, has passed on at the age of 64.
The cause of his death is unknown but he is reported to have died on Sunday while receiving medical attention in the United Kingdom.
This was confirmed by Builsa South Member of Parliament, Dr. Clement Apaak, and former Kumbungu MP, Ras Mubarak in separate Facebook posts on Monday, August 15, 2022.
Dr Nuamah who was a former legislator who represented the people of New Juaben North Constituency in the first Parliament of the 4th Republic was born at Asokore-Koforidua in the Eastern Region.
He also held other government positions including serving as Ashanti Regional Minister and the State Transport Company (STC) Ltd as CEO.
Mr Nuamah Donkor left behind a wife, Irene Nuamah Donkor and five children.
