Ghana beat Nicaragua 1-0 in second friendly match

The Black Stars of Ghana on Tuesday September 27, 2022, recorded a 1-0 slim win over Nicaragua in their second international friendly.
The game which wrapped up the stars September friendlies was played at the Estadio Francisco Artés Carrasco in Lorca, Spain.
It forms part of the preparations ahead of the FIFA World Cup to be hosted in November to December at Qatar.
The only goal in the game was scored by Fatawu Issahaku’s 35th minutes strike which deflected a Nicaraguan player before entering the net.
The goal was enough to give the four-time African champions a 1-0 win over the Central American side.
Tonight’s game followed the team’s 3-0 defeat to Brazil in France four days ago.
From the halftime Ghana continues their domination and creating few goal scoring opportunities several but they were wasteful at goal.
The game eventually ended 1-0 in favor of the black stars to record its first ever win in five matches.

Ghana now take on Switzerland in November before the 2022 FIFA World Cup kick starts in Qatar.
