Hanna Marfo speaks against indecent dressing among female artists

Gospel musician, Hanna Marfo has bemoaned the trend of indecent dressing among female artists in the Ghanaian music industry.

According to her, there are too many indecency trends in promoting nudity in music videos, songs, and performances.

However, Dr. Hannah Marfo has advised her fellow female artists to dress with decency in public and refrain from exposing their bodies since that would not make people love their songs.

“I’m pleading with all musicians that heaping your boobs and exposing your body won’t be the reason for people to listen to your songs. Your songs are already pleasing to the ears that’s why people sing them, so, please, cover-up” she appealed.

The musician emphasized how some experience industry players rose to fame in a properly dressed manner.

“Our mother, Ewurama Badu, was a highlife artiste, but she dressed decently. Akosua Agyapong, who sings and dances, dresses so decently.

“We had other female singers: Lady Talata, Asabea Cropper; they didn’t expose their bodies,” Hannah Marfo opined.

Against this background, she fumed that “I can’t tell what will happen in 20 years, whether we’ll start going naked or what, I can’t tell, so, please, I plead with you all.”
