I don’t hate Shatta Wale, I only do my job as a pundit – Arnold Asamoah clarifies
Controversial Ghanaian entertainment pundit and critic, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has poured cold water on suggestions that he’s on the lagged head with Dancehall artists Shatta Wale.
There have been claims in the entertainment industry that the entertainment pundit is not on good terms with the musician hence his continual critics of the latter.
But, according to Mr. Asamoah-Baidoo, he does not hate Shatta Wale and sees no reason to hate him as purported by many.
Differentiating his stance on UTV’s United Showbiz on Saturday, July 23, 2022, the renowned entertainment critic observed that he won’t achieve anything for hating the musician.
According to Arnold, he’s tempted to believe some fans of the ‘I know my level’ hitmaker is “dumb” which makes them believe he hates their admirer.
“For them to say that I hate Shatta Wale then they are dumb. Let me send this to Wale and the fans, the relationship we have is for life. I’m a Journalist and a pundit and so far as he continues to produce music, I will write about it” he told host Nana Ama McBrown.
Against this background, he explained that he only discharge his duties as a journalist and therefore he will never relent to do so despite the notions.
“When the issues come I say it as it is and I move. I don’t give a damn if you are Shatta Wale or Michael Jackson. They should clear it because until one retires or God calls one, we are in this together,” Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo stated.
