“I’m sorry” – Abeiku Santana begs Mzbel

Celebrated broadcast journalist Abeiku Aggrey Santana has rendered an unqualified apology to Ghanaian highlife singer Mzbel for tagging her as a former artiste.

Abeiku Santana whiles interviewing fast-rising Ghanaian singer, Chief One on his Ekwansodwodwo drive time show on Okay FM described the female musician as a retired musician.

His comments were in reaction to Chief One expressing his aspirations to collaborate with Mzbel one day.

But to the uttermost shock of Abeiku Santana, he quizzed “Mzbel? Former artiste Mzbel? “ he asked.

Responding to the journalist’s utterances, MzBel believes although some individuals hate her, she has reigned for barely two decades in the music industry.

She further accused Abeiku Santana of sabotaging her despite smiling at her.

“I had decided not to address this issue but Tonardo has commented on it and it is about Abeiku Santana…I was sent a video that captured Abeiku saying negative things about me when a singer expressed his desire to do a song with me.

“I won’t say that I am the best musician but I still make songs. No matter what you think, at least some people love my songs. I have been doing music for about 18 years. Abeiku is one of the few people who have sabotaged me, backbit me, and turn around to smile with me. He acts as if he supports me,” Mzbel fires in a Facebook video.

Fast forward, Abeiku Aggrey Santana has asked Mzbel for forgiveness indicating the remorse he has.

“I’m sorry for calling Mzbel a former artiste,” he posted on Facebook.
