KiDi apologise over to Akufo Addo and John Mahama over controversial tweets

Ghanaian Highlife Artiste, Dennis Nana Dwamena known as  Kidi has rendered an unqualified apology to President Akufo-Addo, and former President John Mahama among others following offensive tweets directed at them some years back.

The Touch It hitmaker’s apology comes on the back of the resurrection of his old tweets dated 2012 on Twitter space, Twitter.

It is recalled in Kidi’s old tweets dating back from 2012 directed to President Nana Addo, former president John Dramani Mahama, and female media personalities media Anita Akuffo as well as Deloris Frimpong Manso.

Amongst the numerous tweets, reads; “Nana Addo’s face has fooled” which translates from a Twi phrase “Nana Addo anim agyimi”.

In another tweet about Former President John Dramani Mahama reads “Y’all complain about Mahama, LMAO…Niggaz Got 3 MORE YEARS. Means 3 MORE YEARS of suffering or maybe worse.”

On the tweet about celebrated femia peronality Deloris Frimpong Manso also known as Delay goes “I think delay is an illiterate *shruggs*“

“Back in class 3 when, whenever a Sean Paul song came up in the Jams Room, I went wild on Anita’s Ass…” KiDi’s tweet continues.

Amidst this series of tweets, highlife artiste has come under immense criticism from Twitter users where some have condemned the musician over his action.

But in a quick response, on Thursday, September 29, 2022, KiDi has rendered an unqualified apologise to the affected persons because he has shown remorse.

“Years ago, when I was young and ignorant and didn’t understand the implications and consequences of my words, I tweeted things that were inappropriate and unkind. As I matured, I came to be extremely regretful of these actions and how they affected the parties involved.

“I want to apologies against everyone for the statement I made and use this to remind us of all to be mindful of the things we say and how they affect people. Let’s be kind to each other,” KiDi’s apologise reads.
