The New Patriotic Party (NPP), has elected its national executives to lead the party for the next four years following a successful annual delegates’ conference.

The Conference was held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, 16th July, 2022.
Justin Kodua staged the biggest upset to defeat incumbent General Secretary John Boadu to become the new secretary elect.
He accumulated 2,837 votes (51.34%) to beat Mr. Boadu, who had 2,524 votes representing (45.6%).
Interestingly, Stephen Ayesu Ntim who seeks his fifth attempt at running for the national chairmanship position was crowned victorious after a keen contest.
Mr. Ayesu Ntim received 4,014 votes (72.76%), against his main contender, Stephen Asamoah Boateng, who garnered 1,010 votes (18.31%).
Surprisingly, former Member of Parliament for Suhum, Frederick Opare-Ansah secured 50 votes (0.9%), whereas Charles Bissue, who withdrew from the general secretary race, also obtained 12 votes (0.22%).
At the Women’s Organiser position, Madam Kate Gyamfua beat off contest from her deputy, Hajia Sawudata Saeed, and Ellen Ama Daaku to maintain her post.
She had 620 votes as against Hajia Sawudata Saeed – 32 and Ellen Ama Daaku’s 9 votes.
