Kumawood actor Frank Naro discloses why he quit acting

Ghanaian Kumawood actor-turned musician, Frank Osei better known as ‘Frank Naro’ has recounted the reason behind his decision to quit the movie industry.

According to him Kumasi-based musician, he faced multiple attacks both spiritually and physically in the movie industry which scared him to end his career in the field.

He noted that his decision became important because seeing himself as young, he never wanted to end up disabled or die.

“Some were spiritually and physically attacked because I was nearly amputated after someone in the industry bewitch me [Black Magic] so I told myself that I am young and have not reached any peak so I have to stop.

“I realize that if one is born a deaf you will remain a deaf so if by my ability to speaks and as a result of that one will hurt me in the movie whiles I have not offended anyone then I have to advise myself and stay back exist for the person because how much does speaking worth, Frank Naro told Cinifie Showbiz on Oyerepa TV.

Therefore, he admitted that he was left but nothing to convert into the music industry to exhibit the talent God gave him.

Though Naro, indicated that many wanted him to rescind his decision he turned those calls following the hell went through.

Acknowledging the contribution the movie industry has done him, he mentioned that “Movie has done a lot for me and I always appreciate that fact.”
