An eight-year romance has ended when the groom-to-be used wedding preparation funds to place a bet.
The man’s ex-fiancée took to an online dating site to describe how she was compelled to quit the relationship due to her fiancé’s behavior.
According to the lady, she had always been aware of her boyfriend’s gambling addiction but had hoped he would change.
She stated that she was forced to cancel the wedding because he utilized the money set aside for wedding preparations to place a virtual bet and lost it all.
The woman wrote:
“Gambling and betting ended my 8-year relationship just as we were about to marry.”
I am a lady, I thought he would change, but he plays a game called virtual “baby,” and the money earmarked for wedding preparations was squandered in that game, forcing me to cancel the wedding.”
