LOOK-ALIKE SAGA: I am disappointed in the Big Media Houses – Stonebwoy and Medikal
Stonebwoy and Medikal has vented on the Big Media Houses in Ghana for allowing and entertaining the Ghanaian Musicians look-alike Association.
In A TikTok live, they express their disappointment in the Media House. They also suggested that the energy that the media house are using to promote these lookalikes could have been used to search for good Underground artists and promote them.
According to Medikal and Stonebwoy, it’s not bad for people to come to the limelight to claim their resemblance to Celebrities but as to how they are doing it ; Taking advantage of the popularity and Monetizing the hard earned reputation of the Musicians is where the line is drawn and crossed.
They also mentioned that what the lookalikes are doing can subjected to be a Second Degree Felony which they can spend their life in Jail for at least 10 years. One Lawyer quoted,
“We always compare ourselves to our Nigerian brothers, yet still they media are not doing the needful”, Medikal added
