Ghanaian music star Nacee has hint at releasing a befitting song for the senior national team, the Black Stars of Ghana for the ongoing Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
This follows the recent controversies that sparked over some songs composed by the industry players.
It started when reggae/dancehall Samini who opined that the official song to cheer the Black Stars on was “wack.”
Currently, the Kentos Music Band has released ‘Ghana Osey’; Akwaboah has ‘Bring Back the Love’; Kweku Flick offered ‘Black Stars’ with Smallgod and King Promise dropped his Ghana Football Association (GFA) collaboration titled ‘Black Stars’.
Samini following his rant on Monday, November 21, released the ‘Win Africa, Win’ song for the black stars as well.
Amidst this development, the multiple award-winning music director, producer and singer Nacee, assured fans he is in the studio and work has begun on the cheer chant they have asked of him.
“Ghana [Ghana flag emoji], my proud motherland has called on me… God please help me deliver… In the studio for God and country [Ghana flag, football and fire emojis],” Nacee made the disclosure in a Facebook post on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.
The ‘Mpaebo’ hitmaker in the post attached a picture of him wearing a Ghana jersey and sitting, cross-legged, in the studio.
