NPP’s general secretary Justine Kodua seeks Chief Imam’s blessings

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, (NPP) Justin Frimpong Kodua has sought the blessings and prayers of Chief Imam, Dr. Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu.

According to the newly elected general secretary, he sought for special prayers and benedictions for a successful tenure in the next four years.

Mr. Kodua received the prayers when he paid a courtesy call on the Chief Imam and show appreciation for the spiritual backing offered to him in his quest to win the general secretary position.

His visiting entourage was made up of some members of his campaign team, constituency executives, and other respected dignitaries.

He was elected General Secretary at the ruling party’s just-ended Annual Delegates’ Conference on Saturday, 16th July 2022 beating incumbent John Boadu.

Mr. Kodua was appreciative of how the Chief Imam offered him the needed support both spiritually and physically to secure and see his aspiration come into reality.

He also assured the clergy of working in collaboration with his office and the government to extend development to the Zongo communities in the country.

He thus expressed his commitment to serve his party and the country at large on all fronts in the interest of all and sundry.

On his part, the Chief Imam was overwhelmed with the appreciative steps the politician to embarked on.

He reiterated his continue support in prayers for the success of Mr. Kodua during his tenure in office.
