Otto Addo names 55 provisional squad for world cup

Head Coach of the Black Stars Otto Addo has finally announced his 55-man provisional squad ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana has been housed in Group H at the mundial against Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
The Black Stars will open their World Cup campaign against Portugal on November 24 before taking on Uruguay and South Korea respectively.
The tournament starts from November 20 to December 18 this year, with 32 countries set to battle it out for the covetous trophy in Qatar.
After calls from the general public to announce the list of the team’s provisional squad, the coach, Friday, November 4, 2022, unveil his provisional squad.
It included notable names such as captain Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew, Tariq Lamptey, Mohammed Salisu and Thomas Partey as well as Inaki Williams.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak duo of Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Denis Korsah and Kotoko’s Danlad Ibrahim are the only home-based players to have made the list.
