‘Stop giving what belongs to God to the poor’ – Man of God to Christians
A senior pastor of Holy Hill Assemblies of God Church, Reverend Kwadwo Boateng Bempah has advised Christians to be insightful amidst showing love to the needy.
According to the man of God, once must be discerning in its attempts of being generous to the less privilege because most of them must be overlooked when in assistance.
He emphasisied by adding not every poor person should obtain mercy from Christians because some of them are just reaping what they sowed.
He was of the believed that the consequences of one’s bad deeds should not become a burden on others.
Reverend Kwadwo Boateng Bempah gave the advice in one of his sermon’s videos posted by a Twitter user.
In a 22-second video the Man of God “Even what belongs to God we don’t give to the poor because the reason why they are poor nobody knows, it is not every poor person you have mercy upon, some of them are going through the punishment of Satan and others, and that is why sometimes when giving to the poor you need discernment.”
