Talented Kumawood actor, Samuel Nana Yaw Dabo, popularly known in the movie industry as Adwen Kese3 Yaw Dabo has disclosed that he failed to raise to fame as a professional footballer because of lack of playing time.
According to the diminutive actor, he was keen on embarking on football as a footballer until his dream shuttered due to the little time he had.
The actor who doubles as a football manager for Dabo Soccer Academy in the Ashanti region made the revelation whiles emphasizing his passion for the spot hence the decision to establish the academy for talent hunts and nurturing.
Sited in the studios of Kumasi-based Oyerepa TV with an interview with legendary broadcaster, Sometymer Otu Acheampong Yaw Dabo indicated that he was demoralized by coaches who refuse to give him enough time to showcase his footballing talents during competitive matches.
Considering the situation he observed that led to his decision to end his quest of becoming a footballer before focusing on his pursuit to become an actor despite his great passion for football.
“I was a skillful player. I was a skimmer but I didn’t get enough playing time that’s why I couldn’t progress in football,” Yaw Dabo told disclosed on Today’s Sports.
